The Amistad Gallery is located on the first floor of Du Bois, outside the MPR. Opened in February 2004, the Gallery is the newest art venue on campus. With four exhibits scheduled throughout the year, you will likely see wonderful, thought-provoking works from upcoming artists. All works displayed in the house are for sale. Recent exhibits have featured digital photography, painting, and charcoal drawings.
Curated by the late Professor Terry Adkins, (1953 - 2014) School of Design, and former Du Bois Faculty Master (2003 - 2006), this facility is the only one of it's kind in the college houses and displays the artworks of talented Penn students, as well as that of other members of the art community.
