The Multi-Purpose Room, commonly called the MPR, is the largest room in the house. Complete with adjacent kitchen facilities, comfortable couches, and large tables, it is an ideal space for class, studying, relaxing, or large events with food. Residents may also play one of the House's two pianos. The MPR is located on the first floor of Du Bois College House adjacent to the Amistad Gallery and Uchoraji Lounge. Adorning the walls of the MPR the story of African American life at the University of Pennsylvania is told via informative displays.
