The Du Bois Fit Program is designed to help residents to learn and practice healthy behavior and activities to enhance their lives, and academic careers. Programming will focus on ways to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle by learning nutrition information, fitness techniques and regimens, and healthy behaviors. Some of the activities that the program hopes to offer is a weekly hour power walk or run, a half an hour abdominal work-out and light weights session. In addition to the fitness programs their will be a number of nutrition conversations, and information sessions to address health and fitness concerns relevant to residents. Our goal is to assist students in taking an active role and interest in their health and fitness by creating programming that will enhance their fitness, health, and studies.
