Pam is currently a second-year dental student at Penn Dental. She was born in Beijing, China, and immigrated to California when she was seven. In SoCal, she grew up in the lovely suburb of South Pasadena, in Los Angeles County. When it came time for college, Pam made an adventurous decision to move cross-country to attend Amherst College in Western Massachusetts. If you are experiencing issues with homesickness or adjusting to the new college environment, Pam will lend a sympathetic ear and give you advice based on her own experience.

At Amherst, Pam majored in Art and Art History, played oboe in the Amherst College Orchestra, and was Co-Chair of the Charles Drew Health Professions Society. In her spare time, Pam enjoys surfing on DIY (Do-It-Yourself) websites and learning about woodworking, dabbling with the keyboard, playing Quizo and Time's Up! with her friends, watching shows on Hulu (be sure to watch Green Wing before it's taken off!!), and looking for people to practice French with. You are welcome to speak to Pam in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish at the pre-K level.

But most importantly, Pam loves meeting new people. Feel free to talk to her, ask her for advice, or even build furniture with her, even if she isn't your assigned GA. She greatly looks forward to getting to know her fellow Du Bois College House residents!
