Penn Composting Pilot Program

Starting Monday, March 19th, collection buckets will be in the Penn Garden, on the pathway between Harrison College House and the LGBT Center and are available to any Penn student interested in composting their food waste.

How will this work?
1. Find a container (we recommend Tupperware or a Ziploc bag) to collect your food waste.
2. Fill your container with food waste and scraps.
3. Keep it in your refrigerator or freezer.
4. Empty your bin into one of the buckets at the Harrison Garden.
5. Repeat steps 2-4.

Did you miss the kick-off event on Friday, March 23rd? No worries, you can still sign up for the program HERE. Also, contact us for more information or with any questions  sleporte@sas.upenn.edu or yungt@wharton.upenn.edu
