This Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 6 PM, Gregory College House and Cogwell@Penn will be doing a collaborative event called Active Listening, Active change, and has invited Du Bois to participate.
You'll learn and practice Active Listening Skills to use for campus life situations through an interactive and fun workshop led by CogWell student leader junior Simay Ipek and training coordinator Barbra Berley-Mellits, MSW. These types of skills are great to have handy and sharped for a ton of different reasons.
CogWell@Penn is a student group committed to building a campus-wide network offering skill-building in peer support for the array of stresses students face--from everyday academic and social challenges to more severe crisis situations. Their core values are to promote the power of listening, helping people be a supportive friend, foster empathy, and practice self-care!
