Caribbean Edutopia Quiz Competition

What:

Caribbean Edutopia Quiz Competition engages, educate and empower kids and youths of the 1st and 2nd generation to study their Caribbean history, culture, socio-political and geographical complexities.

Hurricane Irma and Maria ravished about 18 islands in September. Taking some lives in its path and devastating Dominica, Barbuda, and US Caribbean Territories; US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and other French and Dutch islands, St. Maarten/St. Martin.

This humanitarian crisis, saw a first time in history 100% evacuation of a twin island nation of Barbuda with 95% loss of homes and businesses.

Our people here in Philadelphia and their children will most likely be learning about this at our 4th annual Caribbean Edutopia Quiz Competition during Black History Month.

At CEQC, we engage kids, youths and then an open audience participation quiz. Its interactive and fun filled. Woven into every competition is our contribution as a Caribbean Diaspora in Philly.

Each year highlights contributions made by black America and a special exhibit, speaker on STEM, Science, Education or anything that will introduce our Caribbean Diaspora to education institutions or organizations of higher learning.
