Pan-African Activist Sunday School

What:

The brilliant and prolific W.E.B. Du Bois, whose legacy surrounds us at Du Bois College House was many things, including a leading Pan-Africanist.

In the Du Boisian Pan-African spirit, I'd like to invite you to join a live stream event that I will be co-organizng this Sunday, February 6th at 12 PM called Pan-African Activist Sunday School (PASS). PASS is an  intergenerational, Pan-African, popular education series designed to uplift global Pan-African struggles led by activists in Africa and the African Diaspora.

This Sunday our focus will be, "Resisting Dictatorship in Uganda: The 2021 Election Crisis and Beyond."

If you tune in, you will hear directly from Ugandan activists who will help us understand the history that led to the Museveni dictatorship and the recent election crisis, and what you need to know about the current Uganda resistance movement (#RedPearlMovement, #RemovingADictator, #EndMuseveniDictatorship) and how to support.

You can view the livestream event on Facebook at Black Lives Matter Philly or on Youtube at the BLM Philly channel.
