Jonathan MuruakoGraduate Associate
Jonathan Muruako is a 2nd-year Master of Public Health (MPH) student at the Perelman School of Medicine. Muruako is super interested in college students as a vulnerable public health demographic and in digital health as a social tool for empowerment.
Originally from North Mississippi, Muruako is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Class of 2017 where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Basis of Behavior (BBB). As an undergraduate, he was involved in many clubs, initiatives, and extracurriculars including: Minority Association for Pre-Health Students (MAPS), Delta Eta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated, Social Planning Events Committee to Represent Undergraduate Minorities (SPEC-TRUM), research at Penn Medicine Center for Digital Health, Friars Senior Society, and Onyx Senior Honor Society.
Muruako is a curious soul interested in new and/or interesting ideas. In his spare time, you can find him exercising, giving advice, listening to Oldies & Trap music, or working on his wellness startup Fitalyst.
