Dear Family, please join Cultural and Political Power Signature Program Directors Aisha, Toni and Ben at 8pm on Monday 11^th September in the MPR. This will be an information session for students interested in joining the committee that will organize the Souls of Du Bois conference, to take place in February 2018.

The conference will mark the 150^th birthday of Dr. Du Bois and will be an important event on Penn’s calendar.

We are looking for students who would like to take the lead in developing all aspects of the conference, from fundraising, to choosing the theme for the conference, to inviting guest speakers. We and the Du Bois House staff will be here to help and support you all the way!

This is a fantastic opportunity for any students wanting to join us in celebrating the legacy of Dr. Du Bois. It is also a great way to get involved in the House community, gain experience, and build your resume if you are looking for internships and jobs.

We hope to see you on the 11^th of September.
