Radical Self-Care

What:

How do we balance our collective need to rest with our responsibility to stay woke?

Radical Self-Care is a W.E.B. Du Bois College House biweekly series hosted by Dr. Krystal Strong where we explore the intersections of social justice & self and collective care with activists and cultural workers.
On Sunday 11/29, we will be joined by Monique Perry. Mo (she/her/they/them) is a Penn Ph.D. candidate at the Graduate School of Education and a core organizer with Black Lives Matter Philly and the Racial Justice Organizing Committee. A Detroit native and longtime Philadelphia resident, Mo worked for several years as a community educator for Women Against Abuse and brings a wealth of experiences related to trauma-informed approaches and building healthy interpersonal relationships within organizing spaces and schools.
Join us in conversation on Facebook Live every other Sunday at 5 PM.

When:

Sunday November 29th, 2020 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
