Radical Self-Care: Meditation Break

What:

Taking even just a few minutes for a break can have a profound impact on your mood and your day.

Jon Kabat-Zinn who runs the Center for Mindfulness notes that "The little moments? They aren't little" and Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh argues that mindfulness helps you to "establish yourself in the present in order to touch the wonders of life that are available in that moment."

In that spirit, every week, I'll be creating space for you to take just a few moments away from your busy schedule to ground yourself in the moment and in yourself through meditation, gentle body movement, and practices of gratitude and self-affirmation.

To make this super easy, you can join me from the comfort of your room, your phone, or anywhere you find yourself via Zoom: https://upenn.zoom.us/j/98457069030 (Meeting ID: 984 5706 9030).

Try it out, you may be surprised how creating just a bit of space for rest and ease can transform the rest of your day!
